Rainbow

Black and White

The world was just black and white

There wasn't any colour

As I walked through the road

Pondering on why, what and how

It felt all bland

I mused, wondered trying to dig in why

Black and white was all everyone recognised

At first I didn't know why

Then I tried to inform, profess and make them aware

This world is ravishing

There are more colours!

Felt everyone could see and live this beauty together

Apparently, beauty wasn't colourful

Awkward and shock

Culturally disoriented.

They didn't accept

I felt like a rolling stone

Was I being ignored?

Am I not right? Is this a mental disease?

No, I don't like my world black and white.

I like it colourful.

I desire my life a bit red

It will become easier when it would be orange

Could live to the fullest with yellowish

Green will make it peaceful

Blue, a solidarity with my Mates

Bound by purple, without which we don't exist.

I stood with rainbow umbrella

It was raining at Jantar Mantar

As my mates and I celebrated

The yellow and green with purple and blue in red.
